Dermaroller
In this method, the cylindrical device with very thin steel needles on it is moved around the problem area. Microneedles make microholes in the skin. The microchannels formed by the microneedles are perceived by the skin as wounds. The production of growth factors, collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid is triggered, which arise in the natural wound healing process of the skin. As a result, skin regeneration occurs in that area. Microneedles increase the passage of products such as creams, lotions, serums applied to the skin to the lower layers of the skin. By using products that stimulate skin regeneration, such as growth factor, peptides, antioxidants and vitamins, the effectiveness of the procedure can be increased. The method, which can be applied at intervals of 2-4 weeks, should be performed at least 4-6 sessions in order to be good.
The Dermaroller method may be preferred in the treatment of acne acne scars. It also improves skin appearance on oily skin with large pores, reduces fine wrinkles, and offers a radiant skin. It can be easily applied in summer.
