PRP Treatment
PRP (platelet rich plasma) or Platelet Enriched Plasma in Turkish means plasma rich in clot cells. Clot cells, or platelets, are found in a certain number in the blood. Inside these cells is a large amount of growth factors. The aim of the treatment is to apply these cells regionally in a more concentrated way and to benefit from their skin regenerating properties.

How is PRP applied?
The process is actually very simple. With simple methods, 10-20cc of blood is taken from the patient. This blood is put into special tubes. In a special centrifuge device, after ensuring rotation in the appropriate speed and time, it is broken into layers of blood. The plasma obtained as a result of this process is dense plasma from platelets and this part is applied to the area to be treated with special needles.
After microdermabrasion (dermo-roller) applications, PRP serum can be applied to the skin and PRP is easily absorbed from the opened pores.
PRP application can also be performed in combination with applications such as filling, botox, laser and peeling according to your needs to be determined by your doctor.
How does PRP work?
Under normal conditions, when there is an injury to the skin, clot cells, namely platelets, come to the site first for tissue repair. In this area, the growth factors secreted from the clot cells attract stem cells to the area and initiate tissue repair. With PRP, clot cells are obtained in amounts that cannot be provided by normal blood flow. In this way, an average of 2-4 times more clot cells are introduced into the tissue with PRP and thanks to this process, plasma rich in clot cells and growth factors triggers skin repair and allows the skin to regenerate.
